Our Vision

“Our vision is that every child will grow up in a safe, loving and stable family. Our primary focus is children and youth who may have experienced abuse, neglect, family disruption, or a range of other factors that jeopardize their safety or well-being. CWSA-MATATIELE also focuses on the families, caregivers, organizations and communities that care for and support these children.”

Wherever possible, children are reunited with their families. When this is not possible, appropriate foster parents or adoptive parents are identified.

An individual development plan (IDP) is introduced for every child. A Health Manager oversees all issues relating to health care. She also introduces life skills and principles of personal hygiene to the children. Special health care is provided…
